What We Believe

At Beaver Creek Baptist Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Bible, which we consider to be God’s inspired and authoritative word. We hold to essential Christian doctrines that guide our faith, shape our lives, and help us serve as Christ’s hands and feet in the world.

Our Core Beliefs

  • God: We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and deeply involved in His creation, guiding and loving each of us.

  • Jesus Christ: We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, fully God and fully man. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way for us to be forgiven, have a relationship with God, and receive eternal life.

  • The Holy Spirit: We believe the Holy Spirit works in believers' lives, empowering, comforting, and guiding us to live in a way that honors God and serves others.

  • Salvation: We believe salvation is a gift from God, received through faith in Jesus Christ. It is by grace, not by our works, that we are forgiven and reconciled to God.

  • The Bible: We believe the Bible is God’s inspired word, without error, and our guide for faith and practice. It reveals God’s love, wisdom, and His plan for humanity.

  • The Church: We believe the Church is the body of Christ, called to love one another, serve our community, and share the message of Jesus. Together, we grow in faith, encourage each other, and work to make a positive impact in the world.

Our Commitment to Living Our Beliefs

We believe that faith is lived out through love, service, and daily acts of kindness. Our church is committed to putting these beliefs into action—through worship, community outreach, and support for each other.
